MEET PASTOR JAKE

Pastor Jake and Bre Rayford bring more than a decade of faithful, hands-on ministry experience to Foundation. Pastor Jake has served in multiple pastoral roles, including Next Gen Pastor, Spiritual Development Pastor, Campus Pastor, and now steps into his calling as Lead Pastor here at Foundation. Alongside his ministry work, he is completing his Master’s degree from Southern California Seminary (completing it at the end of 2025) and will begin his Doctor of Ministry at Jessup University in the spring of the new year.

Bre shares the same heart for the gospel and has served in ministry for over ten years as well. Her leadership spans both church ministries and faith-based nonprofits. In the new year, she will serve as the Director of Ministry Advancement for Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) NORCAL, and is pursuing her own Master’s degree in ministry.

Together, Pastor Jake and Bre are passionate about reaching the lost, discipling believers, and helping people take their next steps in following Jesus. They love spending time with their family, staying active, and building meaningful community with others. Their desire is to shepherd Foundation with humility, vision, and a deep love for God’s Word and God’s people

Who We Are

Foundation Christian Church is a non-denominational fellowship of Christian believers that meets regularly to worship, fellowship, and praise the Lord Jesus Christ. We preach and teach the infallible, inspired, living Word of God--the Bible. We fellowship together and embrace the concept of oneness and unanimity of purpose -- Jesus Christ and Him crucified -- not necessarily unanimity of philosophy. Membership is inclusive to all who profess the name of Jesus Christ and have shared in the born-again experience.

We are affiliated with the Church of God Movement out of Anderson, Indiana.

What We Believe

We believe in God the Father, Creator of the universe, and in Jesus Christ, His only son.

We believe in the Holy Trinity - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe Jesus was conceived of the Virgin Mary, sinless.

We believe Jesus died for our sins, thereby atoning for our sins by the shedding of His blood.

We believe in the account of the crucifixion and the death of Jesus.

We believe He was raised in power on the third day. Jesus now sits at the right hand of the Father, making intercession for us, His church.

We believe He will come again to judge the living and the dead. He is the head of the church, consisting of all who have been saved by grace through faith.
